It is critical to maintaining and clean shower doors regularly to keep them looking their best. Many people use the wrong product and method to maintain them and end up with the worst results. Avoid all of the DIYs that you read online. We share some primary care instructions to maintain a sparkling look. Let us jump into it:

  • Always Use Squeegees or Soft Cloth for Cleaning
  • Do Not Use Harsh Chemicals
  • You can Use Glass Shining Sprays for Extra Sparkle
  • Remove Soap Scum or Shampoo Build-Up Daily

Always Use Squeegees or Soft Cloth for Cleaning

Wipe it off with a squeegee or soft microfiber cloth. After each usage, doors should be dried and lightly buffed with a soft cloth to retain the shine. It helps to prevent water stains and soap scum from forming over time. Shower squeegees are the essential tool for maintaining the appearance of the glass. Using them daily aids in keeping it clean. If anyone does not have a squeegee, a soft cloth can be used to dry the door.

Do Not Use Harsh Chemicals

Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning products. Toxic vapors from harsh cleaners might reduce the shine and damage it. The glass will be scratched by abrasive cleansers, making it more difficult to keep clean. So, always prefer a specified solution for the glass.

Use Glass Shining Sprays for Extra Sparkle

For additional shine, evenly spray a mist of shining spray straight onto the whole surface when it is dry. Wipe with a clean, dry microfiber cloth and squeegees into a sheen.

Remove Soap Scum or Shampoo Build-Up Daily

People should take care of this and use a good solution if the shower screen has a lot of soap scum or shampoo build-up. If the strip at the end of the shower wall has limescale or shampoo build-up, it should be readily removed to attain a clean look.
